Lived-Expertise Action Boards

In May of 2024, two Lived Expertise Action Board were formed: the Youth Lived Expertise Action Board (18-24 years old) and the Lived Expertise Action Board (general membership). Each board consists of 5 members from different backgrounds and life experiences including people who identify as LGBTQ+ and people from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds. Board members must be:

Currently or previously experiencing homelessness
Living in Santa Cruz County
Passionate about community change

Please complete this form to request the expertise of Lived Expertise Action Board members. Accepting requests is at the discretion of the board and can take 1 – 2 months to process due to board meeting frequency. If you have any questions, please contact santacruz@homebaseccc.org.
