Lived-Expertise Action Boards

In May of 2024, two Lived Expertise Action Board were formed: the Youth Lived Expertise Action Board (18-24 years old) and the Lived Expertise Action Board (general membership). Each board consists of 5 members from different backgrounds and life experiences including people who identify as LGBTQ+ and people from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds. Board members must be:

  • Currently or previously experiencing homelessness
  • Living in Santa Cruz County
  • Passionate about community change

The Youth Lived Expertise Action Board is currently recruiting for two board members. Develop your leadership skills, create positive change, and work with your peers to advocate for those currently experiencing homelessness! We’re looking for committee members aged 18-24 from different backgrounds and life experiences, including people who identify as LGBTQ+ and from diverse ethnic backgrounds. Interested?
